Howdy close friends! And content Friday!! Yay for the weekend. 🙂

But just before we get all energized about those people pretties, let us revisit what I have gotten finished so considerably with this one.
Missed any of the makeovers? You can see them ideal right here:
Nowadays I’m sharing the lazy susan makeover.
I started out by eliminating the turntable on the base and then sanding the prime.
I imagined I experienced taken a photo of that but I just can’t see to come across a person. ??
But I sanded it down to the bare wooden wondering I’d alter the colour. Then I sanded the sides.
Effectively, that darn stain did not want to budge from the sides and I’d had more than enough! haha
So I switched gears and determined to just stain it back dim. Properly, not as dim as it was but equivalent.
I employed a person coat of the Cappuccino stain and allow it sit for numerous times.
Here’s the products and solutions I utilised:
I made this layout to put on the lazy susan.
But for some explanation, I was acquiring a bear of a time making an attempt to get these little letters to cut effectively. It may well have been the font I made use of, who is aware.
So I switched gears all over again! lol
And just did this one…

I pulled out the vinyl lettering to create a stencil with the vinyl. Then I connected the transfer tape so I could transfer it to the lazy susan.
The moment the vinyl stencil was transferred to the lazy susan, I eliminated the transfer tape.
I taped up the sides so as not to get paint on the wood when I rolled the stencil with paint.
I painted many coats, drying in in between.
Then very carefully eradicated the vinyl.
I applied 2 coats of Matte Hard Coat (linked above) and at the time dry, reattached the lazy susan hardware to the base.
And carried out!
A lot more to my liking, design and style-smart.
Make it your very own!
I love it now.
PIN it to conserve it for later!
This kind of a easy adjust but one that would make it appear completely distinctive. Come across previous points at the thrift store and make them your individual!
I’ll see you next 7 days with this one…
Have a wonderful weekend, my good friends!
xoxo
