Backyard club plant sale Saturday
The garden sale season has arrived and revived after a calendar year of quarantine. The Men’s Backyard garden Club of Santa Rosa (which also includes girls) is one of the initially out of the gate with a big plant sale Saturday and Sunday.
Stock up on tomato commences such as Early Woman, San Marzano and Roma, as well as heirloom versions like Inexperienced Zebra, Black Krim and Berkeley Tie Dye. Occidental natural nursery reopens
The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center’s Mother Yard Nursery reopens April 17 in time for spring planting.
The nursery features starts off from a certified natural backyard tended because the 1970s. There will be nearly 600 versions of unusual greens, culinary and medicinal herbs and habitat-enhancing ornamentals. Quite a few of the vegetation are grown from seed collected on-web site.
